Green Black Aso Oke Corset Belt, Side-Zip Lace-Up Waist Cincher

Black and green shot through with white: deep enough to wear with anything, sharp enough to be the thing people notice.

Hand-woven Aso Oke, cut and sewn into a corset belt in Leeds.

Aso Oke is Yoruba for “top cloth”: the cloth reserved for the people and the occasions that mattered most. It is woven in narrow strips on a traditional loom and joined by hand, which is why no two lengths fall the same way, and why it carries weight and structure that printed cotton cannot.

Full corset shaping with the ease of a side zip. The lace-up back lets you fine-tune the fit without unlacing the whole thing every time you put it on. Loosen it for a long day, pull it in when you want the shape to speak.

Wear it over a dress, a jumpsuit, an oversized shirt, a vest top, a jacket or knitwear. It gives a soft outfit a waist and a plain one a point of view.

Size & fit

Choose the size that matches your natural waist:

Medium: natural waist up to 33 in / 84 cm

Large: natural waist up to 37 in / 94 cm

Measure around the part of your waist where you intend to wear the belt, not your narrowest point. The back lacing gives you room to fine-tune within your chosen size. Need a size that isn’t listed? Message us before ordering.

How to Measure

To find your best fit, measure your body directly with a flexible tape measure. Stand straight but relaxed, and keep the tape snug — not tight.

  • Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape straight across your back.

  • Waist: Measure around your natural waistline — this is the narrowest point, usually just above your belly button.

  • Hips: Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom.

Tips:

  • Wear light clothing or underwear when measuring.

  • Hold the tape comfortably — it should sit flat against the body without digging in.

  • If your measurements fall between two sizes, consider how you prefer your clothes to fit (closer or more relaxed).
